At Action Automatic Door & Gate, we like to think that we have the best technicians in Southwest Florida. On top of that, we think our sales and customer service departments are second to none.
A few year back, George decided that team members should be rewarded for taking such good care of our customers, so he created the Curious George program. Every time a customer calls, write, emails, or fills out a positive survey, the technician, sale consultant, and/or customer service representative, who cared for that customer, receives Banana Bucks. Banana Bucks are our internal money. Once someone has collected $25 worth of Banana Bucks, they can turn those in for gift cards to their favorite stores or restaurants.
In an era when customer service seems to be a lost art, we consider it to be absolutely the most important way we set ourselves apart from every other company.
We manage by a value system created by our team members (see blog post Managing with Values), which include respect for customers and each other.
